Steven Joyner

Tough When It Counts, Steady When It Matters Most

Steven Joyner brings deep industry experience and steady leadership to his role as Mitigation Manager and Estimator at Water and Fire Restoration Team. He’s responsible for writing mitigation estimates, overseeing project execution, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout each job.

With a background in trauma, water, and mold remediation, Steven leads with precision, professionalism, and a focus on doing the right thing — even under pressure.

He holds an EPA Lead-Safe certification and mold contractor licenses in both Florida and Texas. He previously held an IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification and has worked as both a remediation contractor and a reconstruction estimator.

Critical thinking, technical skill, and a calm, confident presence are among the many strengths Steven brings to the job every day.

Originally from Tampa, Florida, Steven now enjoys life in Texas with his wife and children. He’s an avid outdoorsman who loves hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Known for his no-nonsense mindset and leading by example, Steven puts it simply: “Don’t ask others to do things you’re not willing and ready to do.”

Fun fact: Steven once caught nuisance alligators and iguanas. He also served in the U.S. Army as a medic, and briefly attended college before shifting to a career in restoration. Today, he’s focused on investing wisely, growing with his family, and one day becoming a proud and present grandfather.
