Tim Kolesnikov – Mitigation Specialist

Tim Kolesnikov

Restoration Expert & Hands-On Technician

Tim handles critical mitigation jobs for the Water and Fire Restoration Team, specializing in drying out structures after water damage. His work includes demolition, moisture removal, dry fog, and ozone treatments—ensuring clean, safe, and sanitized spaces ready for rebuilding.

With strengths in water damage restoration, mold remediation, and controlled demolition, Tim’s skill set bridges emergency mitigation and long-term property recovery. He holds two IICRC certifications: Water Damage Restoration and Applied Microbial Remediation.

After the 2025 flooding in Hunt, Ingram, and Kerrville, Tim was one of the first on the ground. For weeks, he helped homeowners muck out flooded homes, remove debris, perform deep cleanings, and operate drying equipment—turning disaster zones into rebuild-ready sites. Thanks to his experience in construction, Tim is now leading the charge on reconstruction and homebuilding for many of these same homes.

Tim thrives under pressure and finds purpose in helping families recover from catastrophic losses. He’s developed strong time management, teamwork, and problem-solving skills—becoming a cornerstone of our emergency response team in the Texas Hill Country.

Originally from California, Tim now calls the Hill Country home. When he’s not working, you’ll find him riding dirt bikes and e-bikes, working out, flying FPV drones he builds from scratch, or parting out motorcycles through his small business. He’s also a car enthusiast who enjoys spending time with family and friends.

His personal motto is: "Work hard and stay determined—no matter how tough it gets, keep pushing forward."

Before joining WAFRT, Tim worked in construction and homebuilding. With a high school diploma and deep hands-on experience, he is now focused on growing the company, advancing in water mitigation and flood cleanup, and building new skills in damage assessment, estimating, and customer service.
